Ingredients:
BASE:
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands!)
MEAT LAYER:
1 lb (450g) ground beef
½ cup diced onion
1 packet taco seasoning
½ cup water
CREAMY LAYER:
1 cup sour cream
½ cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ tsp garlic powder
VEGGIE LAYER:
1 cup diced tomatoes (drained)
½ cup diced green bell pepper
Optional: jalapeños 🌶️
TOPPING:
1–1½ cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese

1. PREP THE BASE
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
Press biscuit dough into the bottom of a greased baking dish
Bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly set (not fully cooked)
2. COOK THE BEEF
Brown beef with onion
Add taco seasoning + water
Simmer until thickened
3. MAKE CREAMY LAYER
Mix sour cream, mayo, cheese, garlic powder
4. ASSEMBLE LAYERS
Partially baked biscuit base
Seasoned beef
Tomatoes + bell peppers
Spread creamy mixture
Top with shredded cheese
5. BAKE
Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden
🔥 Tips:
Drain tomatoes well so it doesn’t get watery
Pre-baking the biscuit base keeps it from getting soggy
Let it rest 5–10 minutes before slicing
